After much prayer and reflection, and many conversations with family, friends, and citizens, I am proud to continue serving the place we all call home. From my service in the United States Air Force to over two decades with the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office, including the past four years as your Sheriff, I have worked every day to protect and strengthen our community
We have built valuable partnerships, invested in training and innovation, and remained committed to professional and proactive law enforcement services. I have listened to your concerns and will continue working hard to meet the challenges ahead

Sheriff Michael R. Hodges, Jr. has served with the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office for over twenty-two years. In 2022, the citizens of Sevier County elected him to serve as their Sheriff after he spent seven years overseeing the daily operations of the agency as Chief Deputy. Throughout his career, Sheriff Hodges has demonstrated a deep commitment to public service, leadership, and continuous improvement in law enforcement.
